Regis Proud Martin Garnar, MA, MLIS Dayton Memorial Library, Reference Services Librarian and Professor of Library Science Regis has been my one and only professional home. It is a great place to be supported in my career, learn my craft and grow as an individual. In addition to being the reference services librarian, I co-teach an integrative core class and work with the honors program’s thesis research class. The involvement with Regis students on this campus is incredibly meaningful to me. My husband also feels a close connection to the University. He learned about the College for Professional Studies from my work and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Regis. We have been giving for years as a result of an early faculty and staff campaign. The modest amount we give helps all students, from those in the honors or healthcare programs to first-generation learners. Payroll deduction is incredibly easy, and if everybody gave a small amount, it would help ensure our University’s future. We want to guarantee that students have a place to go for a quality education and to make a difference in our world. Every donor, big or small, makes that possible. Martin Garnar is one of the 222 Regis University faculty and staff members who made contributions in 2013-14 totaling more than $109,000. THANK YOU, Martin and every member of the Regis community who gives back to Regis services, programs, scholarships and students each year. As a faculty and staff donor, Martin is Regis Proud. *Regis congratulates Martin Garnar on his pursuit of professional opportunities outside of the University. Regis will miss you, Martin. Thank you for your support!
