Regis Proud Janet Houser, Ph.D., Vice Provost for Resource Planning and Academic Dean, Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions My introduction to Regis began nearly 15 years ago when I was invited to deliver several guest lectures on campus. I fell in love with the idea of “igniting the light of the mind” and applied to teach at Regis immediately thereafter. Working here fits my nature and my values, and my whole life is better because of this University. My favorite parts of Regis are that the community is like family and the mission has me hooked. It’s a privilege to do this work and serve this community. Regis is my family’s favorite nonprofit, and the first place our philanthropic dollars go. We recently decided to formalize our wishes by leaving Regis in our will. It’s a painless way to make sure part of our work is carried on. To donate to an educational institution means our money will continue working for decades after we’re gone, and that gives a great deal of satisfaction and comfort to us. Janet Houser is one of the 222 Regis University faculty and staff members who made contributions in 2013-14 totaling more than $109,000. THANK YOU, Janet and every member of the Regis community who gives back to Regis services, programs, scholarships and students each year. As a faculty and staff donor, Janet is Regis Proud.
