Regis Proud Janet Lee, MA, MBA RC '74 Dean, Library After graduating from Regis College in 1974, serving in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia and obtaining my MLS, I returned to Regis in 1982 as a librarian in the same library in which I had been employed as a student. I have seen changes as we moved from a card- and print-based environment to one that is highly digital. Regis has grown from a college to a university, meeting the needs of a diverse body of students. What remains the same is the dedication of the people. I recall the "moment" I realized I wanted to give back to Regis. When my youngest son was accepted into Loyola Chicago, I knew how much Regis had provided for us. I targeted my contributions to helping first-generation females attend college. Recalling how difficult it had been for me financially as a student, I wanted to make someone else’s life just a little bit easier. Payroll deduction is simple. You never see the money so you never miss it. It is a great opportunity for each of us to support the University. Janet Lee is one of the 484 Regis University faculty and staff members and their spouses who made contributions in 2012-13 totaling more than $157,000. THANK YOU Janet and every member of the Regis community who gives back to Regis services, programs, scholarships and students each year. As a faculty and staff donor, Janet is Regis Proud.
