Derek, RC '95, and Lisa Scarth, RC '97 Regis is where Lisa and I fell in love, where we began our lives together and where we learned the principles we teach our three children. Every day we strive to do more, to follow the magis philosophy, and a big part of that is giving to our University. The Jesuit values we learned at Regis have shaped our lives, our careers and our family. Lisa lives cura personalis, caring for the whole person, each day as a mental health therapist in a school-based clinic. She puts her heart and soul into her work, and she is creating a healthier world one person at a time. When I’m not working at my estate and investment planning firm, I spend my time coaching my sons’ soccer and basketball teams and sitting on nonprofit boards that help address large and small needs in our community. Together, Lisa and I believe we are making a positive impact on the world and raising our children to understand the importance of that. We give to Regis to spread the reach of our impact throughout the world. Regis enabled us to pursue our dreams, start our family and help others to do the same. As alumni, we know our lives are forever entwined with the future of Regis and we want the next generation of students to have even more opportunities than we did. We continue to financially support the University so more students grow in the light of our shared Jesuit values. Derek and Lisa Scarth are two of the nearly 4,100 Regis University donors who made contributions and commitments in the 2015-16 fiscal-year totaling over $7.1 million. THANK YOU, Derek and Lisa, and every member of the Regis community who gives back to Regis services, programs, scholarships and students each year.
