Real People. Lasting Impact. Brianna Barkocy, RC ’19 Faith has always been an important part of Brianna’s life. Coming from a Catholic home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she sought a university experience that would help her deepen and explore her faith. Brianna is able to attend Regis because of the Ignatian Religious Leadership Award, a scholarship given to deserving student leaders majoring in religious studies. Now she is expanding her understanding of God with help from people of all religious backgrounds. Interfaith dialogue on campus and in the classroom demonstrates to her the universal nature of love and Jesuit values. “Attending Regis has taught me the importance of being men and women for and with others who use our education to help those who cannot help themselves,” Brianna said. “Through this experience, we are able to find God in everything we do, no matter our faith.” Brianna is double majoring in religious studies and psychology with the dream of becoming an occupational therapist serving children and young adults with mental illness. The support from our generous Regis community enables Brianna to grow as a bold ambassador of faith and a woman in service of others. Your support impacts students each day and helps create leaders in service of others who impact their communities and the world. Help impact more students like Brianna and make a gift today!
