Doctoral Occupational Therapy, Accelerated Nursing, and CHOICE Nursing Programs

Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD):

Via 1-1 appointments with a career counselor or workshops, these are our services offered:

  • Self-exploration – assessments (MBTI, Strong Interest Inventory, SIGI3, Values Card Sort, StrengthsFinder coming soon)
  • Major exploration
  • Career exploration
  • Graduate School Assistance – search, personal statements, interviewing, etc.
  • Job Search:
    • Self-marketing materials – resume, cover letter, professional portfolio
    • Mock interviewing and interview prep
    • Networking – LinkedIn profile development, elevator pitch, professional affiliation, etc.
    • Salary negotiation

Additionally, our career events (career fairs, on-campus interviews, employer panels, etc.) are available to all students (depending on the employers present).

Dean of Students-Student Conduct-Off Campus Community

  • Sets the vision and goals of Student Life
  • Oversees the leadership staff of all Student Life departments
  • Outreach to faculty & staff around student issues
  • Student of Concern support
  • Student Crises support
  • Emergency Financial support
  • Manages the University Book Fund
  • Medical and Mental Health Leave process
  • Issues IDs to students, faculty, and staff
  • Acts as liaison with Bon Appetit around student issues

Military & Veteran Services:

We provided services to all Active Duty, veterans, spouses, and dependents no matter program, credit hours, etc. These services include:

  • VA Resources
  • GI BILL Information and Resources
  • Community Resources
  • Support to military students- a place to interact, hang out, and feel comfortable with those alike.
  • Service Projects to the community
  • Social Events to help engage military students
  • Programs to educate the Regis Community regarding veterans
  • Programs to help military students transition and be successful in their educational pursuits and career development.

Office of Counseling & Personal Development:

  • Outreach related to various topics
  • Consultation to faculty/staff/parents/administrators
  • Individual/group/couples/family therapy
  • Mandated tx/assessment
  • Workshops related to various mental health issues/coping skills

Student Disability Services/University Testing:

  • Academic accommodations
  • Academic monitoring
  • Proctored testing for:
    • Accommodated testing
    • Make up exams
    • Revenue generated testing

Student Health Services:

  • Primary Care: Our team of providers is experienced in treating common medical problems seen on college campuses. We offer initial diagnosis and treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries and appropriate follow-up care.   Services include gynecological exams, STI Testing, LGBTQI care, preventive care, travel health consults, general physical exams, chronic disease management and mental health care.
  • Specialty Care: We can refer you to a variety of medical specialists and connect you with services provided by a network of local experts.
  • Laboratory Testing:  In-house laboratory services are available for a fee at the health center and are payable at the time of service. Some examples include rapid strep testing, urinalysis and blood glucose screening. More complex testing will be sent out to an external lab.
  • Immunizations and Tuberculosis Screening:  We provide preventive immunization services and tuberculosis screening. The following immunizations are available at the health center:
    • Measles
    • Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
    • Influenza (flu)
    • Hepatitis B
    • Tetanus (Td)
    • Tdap (pertussis),
    • HPV
    • Meningococcal vaccinations

  • Regis Fitness Center
  • Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes
  • Intramural and Club Sports
  • Outdoor Adventure Program – Trips, Gear Rental, and Cycle Works
  • Violence Prevention – Outreach and Advocacy
