The Post-Graduate Certificate: Family Nurse Practitioner is an ideal solution if you already have an MS in Nursing degree or its equivalent and want to become a family nurse practitioner. The curriculum focuses on health promotion, disease prevention and management of acute and chronic illness and injury. Clinical experiences are offered in a variety of health care settings in both urban and rural communities. Completion of this specialization will make you eligible to take both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Examination and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Examination upon graduation.
