- Reporting Requirements and Disciplinary Actions for Violations of this Policy
- Persons who are involved or were formerly involved in amorous relationships under C.1 or C.2 must bring those relationships to the timely attention of the Director of Human Resources. Involvement in consensual relationships under C.1 or C.2 will likely result in the removal of the individual from supervisory, advising, or evaluative responsibilities, removal of the other party from being supervised or evaluated by the individual with whom they have established a consensual relationship, or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Faculty who violate C.3 policy are subject to disciplinary action. This policy strives to provide an environment that is free from sexual harassment. This policy is rooted in the recognition that faculty-student relationships may be inherently unequal and contain an element of superiority or power.
- Failure to self-report relationships to the Director of Human Resources as required under C.4.i may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- In accordance with the Regis University Nondiscrimination, Sexual Misconduct, and Retaliation Policy, faculty, University affiliates, and employees are prohibited from making, participating in, or otherwise influencing decisions affecting the progress or standing or which may reward or penalize a faculty member, University affiliate, student, or employee, with whom the individual has or has had a current or former sexual or romantic relationship.
