A. Purpose
To ensure all marketing and promotional materials are professional, accurate in terms of message and statistics, and consistently presented across all mediums.
B. Scope
Applies to any University employee or department seeking to create or edit print, video, or digital media intended for external audiences. Editing includes updates to content, graphic design, and video. The University's Visual Style Guide governs use of the University's official marks and logo, and the Writing Style Guide governs written communications.
C. Guidelines
1) The Marketing and Communications or Admissions departments are responsible for every marketing and promotional asset intended to be consumed by external audiences that identifies Regis University as its source. Before publishing or distributing new marketing and promotional materials about Regis University to external audiences, submit the print or digital asset to the Marketing and Communications Department or Admissions Department for review.
2) All public-facing print and digital materials referencing Regis University's admissions requirements and program descriptions intended for the recruitment of students must be reviewed and approved by a Director of Admissions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
3) Newly created and revised content on Regis University owned websites must be reviewed, approved and published solely by the Marketing and Communications web team. Web content referencing Regis University's admissions requirements and program descriptions intended for the recruitment of students must be reviewed and approved by a Director of Admissions before new or revised content is published by Marketing and Communications.
4) Submit requests for the creation or revision of print, video, or digital media intended for external audiences to the Marketing and Communications team within a reasonable timeframe at one.regis.edu/marcom. Marketing and Communications will escalate requests that reference Regis University admissions requirements and program descriptions intended for the recruitment of students to the Admissions department for approval by a Director of Admissions.
