The Regis Housing Portal opens for incoming First-Year and Transfer Students on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 9 a.m.

2019-2020 First-Year & Transfer Student Housing Sign-Up Information

April 1, 2020        9 a.m. Housing Sign-Up opens online for First-Year and Transfer students.
May 5, 2020           Special Accommodation Requests and documentation are due.
May 1 - May 28, 2020      Select your roommate by signing back onto The Front Porch.
May 28, 2020         Dates and time slots are emailed to all students to select their rooms.
May 29 - May 31, 2020    Sign back onto The Front Porch to select your room.
June 15, 2020                  Housing assignments will be emailed to your Regis email.

2019-2020 Upperclassmen Housing Sign-Up Information:

Feb. 3, 2020  Upperclassman application opens

Feb. 8, 2020     Special Accommodation Requests are due (You must complete the request each time you sign up for housing.)

  • All documentation (medical information, exemptions, etc.) should be submitted to the Office of Disability Services directly. 
  • Students are emailed by February 28, 2020 with results
Feb. 26, 2020 Phase 1 closes  

March 16, 2020        All JR/SR will be notified if they have been offered housing. (Sophomores are required to live on campus and therefore will be offered housing.) 

March 10 - March 13, 2020   Phase 2 opens for students who have been offered housing. A $300 non-refundable deposit will be required at this time. Students in Phase 2 of housing sign-up will be asked to find/confirm roommates by visiting the Front Porch.

March 16, 2020 Phase 3 opens and students with confirmed roommate groups will be emailed a lottery time to select halls/rooms by logging back into the Front Porch.  

March 19, 2020  All students without confirmed roommate groups who have been offered housing will be emailed a time slot to select a room. 

June 1, 2020  Housing assignments will be emailed to all students.

Nov. 11, 2019   Boryla Renewal Application Opens

Jan. 13, 2020 Boryla Application open for new applicants

Jan. 23, 2020 Application closes for new applicants. 

Jan. 27, 2020 Student will be notified if they are offered space in Boryla. Those who are not offered space may apply to Upperclass housing on Feb. 3.

April 1, 2020 Graduate students wanting space in Boryla may start their applications

If you are going to be a first-year student for the upcoming academic year, you are eligible to live in either O'Connell Hall or DeSmet Hall.

If you are going to be an incoming transfer student for the upcoming academic year and you 1. have lived in a college/university residence hall for at least two consecutive semesters (not including summer) or 2. are over the age of 21, you are eligible to live in either West Hall, Residence Village or Ignatian Village.


If you have a disability or medical condition that requires you to have special accommodations such as a single room, please submit your written request with the below required documentation by a doctor or licensed mental health professional by the request due date of each year to Student Disability Services. Please do not submit documentation to Residence Life.

Documentation must be on letterhead from a physician or licensed mental health professional and include the following:

  • A diagnosis.
  • Is impact of the condition life threatening if the request is not met?
  • Is there a negative health impact that may be permanent if the request is not met?
  • Is the request an integral component of a treatment plan for the condition in question?
  • What is the likely impact on academic performance if the request is not met?
  • What is the likely impact on social development if the request is not met?

A decision about your request will be made by a panel of professionals who will notify you of the decision in writing.  Please note these decisions are kept confidential. Disability/medical requests will be evaluated in conjunction with the housing sign up timeline.

Disability/Medical Housing Requests for Returning Students

All students MUST reapply for a disability or medical single room each academic year. If you wish to continue having a disability or medical single room or would like to request a disability or medical single room for the academic year, you must submit current and complete documentation to Student Disability Services & University Testing by May 10, 2019.  For questions, please contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

Summer Housing

On-campus housing is available to undergraduate students currently enrolled in Regis College or Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. Students will reside in a Residence Village unit or in an off-campus house (Ignatian Village). Throughout the summer, there is a student staff presence in each summer housing site, 24-hour emergency on-call staff support, and building access by a room key only.

Summer Housing Rates

  • Summer Housing will begin May 10, 2020 and end August 1, 2020.
  • The cost for Ignatian Village summer housing is $550 per month which includes utilities (water, gas, electricity, internet, and TV services) and furniture.
  • Boryla Housing Summer rates are listed under Boryla Rates 
  • There is a 4 week minimum stay required.
  • Summer Housing will be hosted in Boryla and Ignatian Village Homes.
  • Student will not be charged additional fees for parking at the Ignatian Village Homes.
  • There will be a fee for parking in Boryla. 
  • We will offer shared house/unit with 2-4 roommates with single rooms, full bathrooms and full kitchens.
  • Student Housing will provide support and resources throughout the summer (On Call Staff, events, and resources).
  • Deadline to sign up for summer housing is April 15, 2020
  • Students will be required to move out of the their summer housing assignment on August 1, 2020 (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Regis University encourages its summer students to enjoy our campus facilities. However, consistent with its educational mission, Regis University reserves the right to regulate and/or prohibit certain activities within the boundaries of the campus. All summer students are required to abide by the Student Code of Conduct as outlined in the Student Handbook. Students in violation of the Code of Conduct may be removed from their summer housing and will be processed through the Regis University disciplinary system.
