Why Should I Study Business Administration?

Earning an MBA demonstrates a significant commitment to your career. It naturally promotes your understanding of how the functional activities of an organization work together to accomplish business objectives, which is in high demand by U.S. employers. An MBA also indicates that you've mastered a certain level of knowledge in business management, which gives you the ability and confidence to speak on equal terms with executives in cross-functional areas. You will also have the opportunity to earn a high salary while bringing positive change to your community.

Is the MBA For Me?

Management requires an ability to recognize opportunities, define problems, implement creative solutions, and often requires researching issues and working collaboratively with others.

You're likely to possess traits such as:

  • An ability to lead and initiate
  • An ability to identify and solve
  • High motivation to make a difference in the world
  • The ability to convert ideas to action
  • An intellectual curiosity
  • The ability to learn from your experiences
  • Integrity
  • Analytical skills
  • Collaboration skills

What Will I Learn In Regis’ Professional MBA Program?

The Regis Professional MBA teaches you to look at problems and opportunities holistically, considering the core problem, resources, capabilities, customer needs, and the impact of decisions on people and society. It also provides analytical frameworks, such as risk assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic plans that you can apply to any problem or opportunity you encounter. The MBA builds a business mindset as you use decision frameworks and practices repeatedly in classes. You will see how they can be applied in a variety of situations—often in your job, the next day. Your MBA can be augmented with an optional area of specialization in Accounting, Finance, Health Industry Leadership, Marketing, or Strategic Management.

You'll also become an expert on the various disciplines associated with modern business and organization management. In particular, the MBA will prepare graduates to:

  • Evaluate the systemic impact of change on an organization.
  • Develop a personal and organizational framework for ethical decision making.
  • Assess the impact of global, technological, and market trends on sustainable business environments.
  • Partner with others to address business challenges using appropriate analytical tools.
  • Manage with consideration for the economic, political, regulatory, legal, technological, and social contexts of organizations in a global society.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems using a comprehensive set of business and management knowledge disciplines.
