With both a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Health Informatics dual degree you’ll have a foundation in health informatics that will position you well for the role of blending information and technology and patient care. A comprehensive education combining computer science and clinical applications will give you the skills needed to not only be more marketable in a field increasingly more reliant on technology, but also accelerate your career into numerous dimensions of pharmacy practice including hospitals and health systems, eHealth companies, insurers and pharmaceutical companies.

Students can earn a Master of Science in Health Informatics degree by completing 12 graduate courses listed under the program requirements tab, seven of which can be fulfilled through required and elective Pharm.D. courses.

The additional five Health Informatics courses can be taken online in 8-week terms over the summer making it easy to earn both a M.S. in Health Informatics and Pharm.D. degree concurrently at your own pace while enrolled in or after graduation from the Pharm.D. program.
