Your education at Regis College doesn’t stop at the Denver city limits. Global Learning Opportunities are built to expand your academic perspective, deepen your understanding of the world and put you in direct conversation with people and communities beyond your own.
Regis College students can pursue a commission in the U.S. Air Force through the Air Force ROTC program, one of the few paths that lets you earn a liberal arts and sciences degree while developing the discipline and leadership skills the military demands. The program runs through a cross-town partnership with CU Boulder, where cadets attend weekly training alongside their Regis course work.
It's a demanding combination by design. You'll graduate with a degree, a commission and a set of skills including accountability, decision-making under pressure and leading others, that translate well beyond military service.
Regis College’s centers bring students and faculty together around questions that don’t fit neatly into a single discipline. Here, academic work connects directly to real communities and real challenges, giving you the chance to contribute to something larger than any one course or major.
The Undergraduate Research, Inquiry and Scholarly Engagement (URISE) Office connects Regis students to faculty-directed research, even for just a single semester. URISE helps you explore interests, find mentors and access funding. Through a competitive grant process, all Regis undergraduates can apply for funds to cover conference travel or purchase essential scholarly supplies.
The Center for the Study of War Experience has built something genuinely rare in higher education: an archive spanning more than 900 hours of recorded interviews with veterans, civilians, refugees and anti-war protesters.
Students can work directly with this collection through internships and assistantships or engage through Stories from Wartime, a long-running public course that brings authors, historians and witnesses into conversation around a different theme each semester.
Located just steps from Regis University’s Northwest Denver Campus, Romero House offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to live in an intentional community dedicated to social justice and service. Residents commit to a full academic year of volunteering at local nonprofits, sharing communal meals and exploring faith and simplicity, all while receiving a scholarship that covers housing and a communal food stipend.
The Honors Program draws some of Regis College’s most curious students into a close-knit community of genuine intellectual exchange. Limited to 30 students per year, it brings together people from different majors and interests, all willing to ask harder questions and sit with the answers. The curriculum takes an interdisciplinary path through the core, culminating in an original thesis, with seminars taught by faculty from across the college. You don’t need a perfect transcript to apply. You do need to care deeply about ideas.
