The Learning Commons at Regis University offers tutoring and writing services to students.

Our office strives to give you the support you need to succeed academically. As a Regis student, you get three free hours of writing center or tutoring appointments per week. Our appointments are held in person or online. Contact us and let us work together to get you on track to doing your best.

Writing Center

From brainstorming ideas to polishing final drafts, the writing center is here to guide you through your written assignments. This free service is for all undergraduate and graduate students and is offered in person or online. Come work with us to get practical feedback and improve as a writer.

Our tutoring services are free for all students and incorporate a wide variety of subjects. Schedule an online or in-person tutoring appointment to improve your topic comprehension, preparation, analysis, test-taking skills and review. Whether you come for help on a specific assignment, prep for an exam, or review in specific subject-matter, we are here for you.

Additional Tutoring and Academic Support

We’ve partnered with Smarthinking to offer you another free online tutoring option to use when TLC’s in-house tutoring is unavailable. Regis students receive 10 free Smarthinking hours per year and access to its “Study Aids” anytime. To maximize tutoring hours, try TLC first.

Academic Success Workshops

Accomplishing everything you hope for academically is more than understanding the subject matter. Time management, testing skills, learning strategies, adhering to style guides—all these and more will serve you well in your Regis courses. Join us for free in-person or online workshops throughout the year.

“They challenged me ... They introduced me to formulas, ratios and financial websites I had never heard of. Most of all, they were very patient and provided reliable feedback and support. I cannot thank the Learning Commons enough.”

–Ed Basquez, business administration undergraduate
