The Rapids Youth Soccer Elite Performance Center at Regis University’s Northwest Denver campus is the home for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club’s Elite programming, providing over 700 young Colorado athletes and coaches with one of the highest-quality training and playing facilities in Colorado, as well as a convenient central location for members across the Club’s 12,000 players spanning 100 miles of the Colorado Front Range.

Regis University welcomes Rapids Youth Soccer as its holistic approach to athletics is a natural extension of our Jesuit principles focused on care for the whole person, striving for excellence and serving those in need. Rapids Youth supports its players through health and mental performance services, a college placement program, and robust player, coach, and parent education programs.

Regis University facilities include:

  • Illuminated, 190,000-square-foot artificial turf soccer field
  • Match Pitch, Regis’ premier natural grass soccer pitch
  • Berce Athletic Center, a new 19,500-square-foot, indoor hard surface facility with 2 futsal courts
  • Classrooms with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment
  • Auditoriums for player, coach, and parent education and meetings
  • Residential housing for camps and traveling teams

Scholarships

Regis University has committed to individual scholarships for Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club players for up to $100,000 over four years, providing greater access to an excellent Jesuit education for students across the Front Range. Regis recognizes that sports participation is often a catalyst for greater academic achievement and college enrollment opportunities.

Internships

As a part of Regis University’s ongoing commitment to provide internships and experiential work experiences for its students while in college, the University is pleased that the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club will be offering internships within their organization to Regis students. Any former Rapids Youth players who attend Regis will have ample opportunities for internships with the club while a student.
