Scholarships and Grants for Graduate Students
Scholarships and grants are awards based on academic performance, program of study, leadership potential, other talents and/or financial need (based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and do not need to be repaid. Scholarships and Grants are limited for graduate students, but we encourage you to review current available options below and seek out all opportunities, including external scholarships.
Dean's Scholarships
Regis University is pleased to announce that every new, qualifying student starting in select graduate programs will be awarded a Dean's Scholarship. These new merit-based scholarships go up to $12,000 for the duration of a program and are guaranteed for those who meet the eligibility requirements.

Physical Therapy Scholarships
$100,000 in scholarships are awarded annually to incoming Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
Dean's Scholarship
Select Dean's Scholarships are awarded annually to each incoming class based on academic achievement, university mission fit and diversity. All students admitted to the program are considered for the scholarships and notified with their admission decision if selected. These scholarships are spread out over eight semesters and applied towards tuition
Notarianni Scholarships
Notarianni Family Scholarship in Memory of Elissa A. Notarianni is awarded to a student who has completed their first year in the DPT program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be in good academic standing upon completion of their first semester with a minimum grade point average of 3.25 and submit a cover letter and three-page essay requesting consideration for the scholarship.
Pharmacy Scholarships
All Pharm.D. students starting at Regis University will receive a guaranteed $75,000 scholarship, which brings the total cost of tuition for the program to $99k for both the 3-year and 4-year tracks.
Additionally, numerous other scholarships are awarded annually to incoming Doctor of Pharmacy students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, university mission fit and diversity. All students admitted to the program are considered for the scholarships and notified of their admission decision if selected. These scholarships are spread out over eight semesters and applied toward tuition.

Your total financial aid eligibility is limited by your cost of attendance and your financial need. If you receive additional aid, such as grants, scholarships or tuition benefits from outside Regis University, we may have to adjust your award package.
Grants
Colorado Graduate Grant
Funded by the Colorado General Assembly and awarded to eligible graduate students in critical careers as defined by the Colorado Department of Higher Education and as identified by Regis University. Eligible graduate students must document financial need through their completed FAFSA with an EFC (expected family contribution) of less than $10,000 and must also document Colorado residency by submitting a completed Colorado Residency Form. Funding is limited. Graduate students enrolled full-time (6+ credit hours) receive priority consideration. If awarded and attending half-time (less than 6 graduate credit hours), the grant will be prorated based on enrollment.
Federal TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year ($16,000 total for undergraduate students and $8,000 total for graduate students) in grants for students who, annually: 1) are eligible for federal student aid programs, 2) complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), 3) complete the TEACH Grant Form, 4) complete TEACH Grant counseling, 5) complete the TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve or Repay. The TEACH Grant Counseling and Agreement to Serve or Repay are located at www.studentaid.gov. As part of the TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve, students agree to:
- Serve as a full-time highly-qualified teacher for four elementary or secondary school years at a school or educational service agency that serves low-income students;
- Teach in a high-need field; and
- Complete the required four years of teaching within eight years after you graduate from or otherwise cease to be enrolled at the institution of higher education where you received your TEACH Grants.
If a student does not meet the requirements of their service obligation, all TEACH Grants they received will be converted to Direct Unsubsidized Loans. Students must repay these loans in full, with interest charged from the date of each TEACH Grant disbursement.
As required by the Budget Control Act of 2011 (the sequester law), any TEACH Grant disbursement requires a sequestration reduction. For example, a 5.70% sequestration reduction on a $4,000 TEACH Grant means that a student will actually receive $3,772.
