Dr. Adriana Teodoro-Dier is a collaborative pianist for recitals and performances of Regis University’s students and faculty. She completed a doctorate in Collaborative Piano Performance at the Frost School of Music (FL), where she was awarded an assistantship in Opera/Vocal Accompanying. For her dissertation, Teodoro-Dier conducted original research on communication strategies for effective musical coaching and on the pedagogy of collaborative piano. A scholarship recipient for all her degrees, she also holds a masters in Piano Performance from Cincinnati College-Conservatory, a BM in Piano Performance (magna cum laude) and BA in Physics (magna cum laude) from Lawrence University. She is an affiliate faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver as Collaborative Pianist and also maintains a private teaching studio.

Multi-faceted as a performer, educator, and coach, Teodoro-Dier is committed to exploring symbiotic relationships between music and other art forms, history, and innovation and to bringing different genres of performance art together. In recent recitals in Florida and Colorado, she has created original works of art inspired by the musical compositions and has also given pre-performance talks relating compositions to historical art movements. Though passionate about performing late 19th century works, Teodoro-Dier is an avid supporter of emerging composers and enjoys performing contemporary music. She is also a visual artist specializing in abstract works.
