As a person, a teacher and a doctor of physical therapy, I lead my life according to the following values: life-long learning, service, compassion and caring for all individuals, leadership, maintaining a balance in all arenas of my life, and finding God’s presence in all of my endeavors. I strive to impart these values in my students by leading through example. I believe a hands-on passionate approach to teaching with constant application to “real world” situations will allow my students to thrive as individuals and as future Physical Therapists. If I can teach my students foundational skills, big picture application of these skills and professional values, I have done my job to promote the profession of physical therapy. More importantly, I will have ensured the growth and development of excellent Doctors of Physical Therapy as contributing members of society and to our profession.
