Student Health Insurance Program
Our student health insurance provides coverage for students who are required to have health insurance while enrolled in Regis University classes. This includes students taking six or more credit hours and are enrolled as an on-campus, daytime undergraduate student in Regis College. Select Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions students are also required to show proof of private coverage and are eligible to purchase the student health insurance plan.
Student Coverage
All required students must access the Gallagher Insurance website and either enroll in the Regis University Student Health Insurance plan or waive this coverage and provide proof of alternate, comparable health insurance coverage. If a student chooses to waive the University plan, he/she must do so before the first term on campus and every successive fall.
If a student fails to waive coverage by the appropriate deadlines, he/she will be enrolled in and billed for the University Student Health insurance plan.

- All international students regardless of major
- All students enrolled in the following health care programs:
- Undeclared Pre-Nursing Traditional
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Accelerated
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Traditional
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing CHOICE
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Worksite
- M.A. in Counseling
- M.A in Marriage and Family Therapy
- M.S. Biomedical Sciences
- M.S. Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner
- M.S. Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate
- M.S. Nursing - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- M.S. Nursing - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certificate
- Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Doctor of Nursing Practice

Coverage Cost
Students may elect to enroll in the Regis University Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP). In order to waive coverage, your policy must provide the same level of coverage as your school's plan. This plan is fully compliant with the Affordable Care Act, provides access to local doctors and meets all other waiver requirements.
If you waive the SHIP, you must provide Gallagher Student Health with proof of eligible coverage so that we may removed the fee from your account.
