About the Campus
The Thornton Campus, located near 84th Avenue and I-25, is home to the Division of Counseling and Family Therapy, a premier program deeply rooted in Regis’ mission of educating skilled and competent professionals who use their talents to serve their communities.
Students within the division, which also has offerings on Regis’ Colorado Springs Campus, can pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling or a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Both degrees are accredited by their respective governing bodies.
In addition, students can earn four graduate certificates in Counseling Children and Adolescents, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Military Families, and Depth Psychotherapy.
A critical piece of the program and the Thornton Campus is the Center for Counseling and Family Therapy, which offers specialized areas for children’s play therapy, creative therapy for adolescents, as well as couples and family therapy. Other features include state-of-the-art observation rooms that will offer advanced students optimal learning experiences, including live feedback as they work closely with faculty supervisors to enhance their clinical skills.
The counseling center provides low-cost counseling services to individuals, couples and families who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
