Service, Volunteer and Immersion Trips

Looking to make a long-term impact in a short amount of time? Want an opportunity to experience the world through the eyes of those on the margins? The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, along with the offices of University Ministry and Service Learning offer a variety of experiences for students to serve and encounter the world during their university breaks.

Student led trips have served locally, nationally and internationally with non-profit and relief organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, All Hearts and Hands, Global Brigades and Homeboy Industries. During these impactful experiences, students spend their days serving with the sponsoring organizations (or immersing themselves in the lives of their hosts) and spend their evenings exploring the local area and reflecting as a team on their experiences.

Whether focused on clean water, medical scarcity in the developing world, gang intervention, disaster relief or cultural exchange, these trips provide opportunities for students to encounter the world in a new way, explore important social, economic and political issues, serve communities in need and build lasting friendships with fellow Regis students, faculty and staff.

For more information about these trips, contact the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, University Ministry or the Office of Service Learning.
