Regis joins list of Jesuit schools decrying action of Nicaraguan government

June 04, 2018

Regis University President John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J., extended his support for the University of Central America (UCA) in Managua, Nicaragua.

Along with the other 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States, Regis stands with its Jesuit sister institution, UCA, which has been peacefully protesting for social justice as government violence attempts to suppress dissent.

Regis urges the Nicaraguan government to respect the rights of its citizens.
