University is among top ranked in nation for physical therapy, best value

Regis University’s physical therapy program placed among the top 30 in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s recently released Best Colleges rankings. The University placed 32nd for Best Value Schools.

Colorado’s Jesuit university also ranked 26th among the best regional universities in the western United States, and placed 16th for veterans based on participation in federal initiatives to help veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees.

The University has made the list for 23 consecutive years.

U.S. News creates its regional rankings by evaluating several widely accepted indicators of excellence, including graduation and retention rates, academic reputation and financial resources, among others.

Among the 1,200 online programs surveyed, the University ranked among the Top 50 for Best Online Graduate Computer Information Technology programs. Regis also ranked well for its online graduate criminal justice program. University online programs in education, nursing and business, including its MBA, also were ranked.
