Regis University ranked second in WalletHub’s latest list of top colleges and universities in Colorado.

In its list released Oct. 21, the personal finance website set Regis ahead of all qualifying Colorado colleges and universities except the University of Denver.

Among universities in the Western United States, Regis was ranked above major institutions such as Arizona State University, Seattle University, University of Wyoming and Oregon State University.

For the rankings, WalletHub used 33 metrics grouped into seven categories: student selectivity, cost and financing, faculty resources, campus safety, campus experience, educational outcomes and career outcomes.

Alongside its No. 2 ranking overall for Colorado, Regis ranked in the nation’s top 100 for the educational outcomes category.

Established in 1877, Regis University is a premier, globally engaged institution of higher learning in the Jesuit Catholic tradition that prepares leaders to live productive lives of faith, meaning and service. One of 27 Jesuit universities in the nation, Regis has four campus locations in the Denver metro area and Colorado Springs and extensive online program offerings with more than 11,000 enrolled students.
