Walk into Bon Appetit on any day of the week, and the menu will feature ingredients from ranches and farms across Colorado.

Walk in this Tuesday, Sept. 25 and it’s guaranteed everything on the menu is from within 150 miles of campus.

Bon Appetit, in partnership with Regis University’s Auxiliary Services, will host the eighth annual Eat Local Challenge.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Main Café.

There are also three ways to win some great prizes. The first? Just show up. T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 students.

There are two other ways to win prizes. People can guess the heat from locally grown peppers on the heat index for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Ranger Station FanZone. Those that have an old Eat Local shirt are encouraged to wear it to be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift certificate to Walker’s Pub.

Both prize opportunities take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
