Regis University has named Bryan Hall as the new academic dean and professor for the College of Contemporary Liberal Studies (CCLS). Hall will begin his new role on Jan. 18, 2019. 

“Hall brings many strengths to the role of academic dean: proven balance of faculty and administrative leadership; a strong record of teaching and scholarship; service as a Fulbright Scholar in Romania; and grounding in the mission of Catholic higher education. I believe he is the right person at this time to bring vision and leadership that will advance the mission of CCLS  and our university,” said Regis Provost Janet Houser.

Hall, who has his bachelors in philosophy and English from the University of Denver and doctorate in philosophy from the University of Colorado –Boulder, has been a professor for nearly 15 years at Virginia Tech, University of Bucharest, Indiana University Southwest and, most recently, St. John’s University. 

Hall will bring years of commitment to student to success, love of scholarship and a strong appreciation of the Jesuit, Catholic mission to his new role in CCLS.
