ABOUT THE AWARD

At Regis University, our students search for meaning in all they do; are committed to environmental awareness; promote diversity and cultural traditions; and yearn for justice and the common good.  Regardless of whether they are majoring in history and politics, or studying to become a computer scientist, they are asked to explore and absorb these values.

The Leadership Core full-tuition scholarship program is an opportunity for prospective students (like yourself!) to tell us more about your passions as they relate to meaning, diversity, justice and/or environmental awareness. All majors with the exception of nursing may apply.

  • Two full-tuition scholarships will be awarded. In addition, two $6,000 and four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded and are combinable with merit awards.
  • These four-year awards are renewable based on maintenance of a 3.0 GPA.
  • The awards may be used toward an approved one-semester study abroad program.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • All candidates must be admitted, first-year students for fall semester 2019.
  • Must demonstrate leadership in one or more of the following: high school clubs and organizations, athletics, outside organizations, internships and community employment.
  • Must demonstrate commitment to service and community involvement.
  • Must display academic achievement that complements the applicant's leadership ability.
