She also continues to practice as a senior physical therapist in an inpatient acute care setting. Dr. Rich is a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy and her passions lie in acute care physical therapy, the intensive care unit, interprofessional education and practice and combating the opioid crisis. She strives to practice Cura Personalis through facilitation of her students to treat their patients with respect, dignity and as a whole person physically, mentally and spiritually. You will often find Dr. Rich working with DPT students in the simulation lab, where application of critical thinking, technical skills and interaction with real patient actors optimally come together for excellence in student learning. She believes bridging the gap between didactic course work and clinical practice through practical application and interprofessional experiences will provide her doctor of physical therapy students the opportunity needed to become excellent practitioners. In her spare time, Dr. Rich enjoys hiking, pilates and running while trying to keep up with her three children.
