Marcello Mickel, MHA, is a dynamic healthcare leader who combines extensive hands-on experience with a commitment to transforming care delivery. Based in the Boston metro area, Marcello earned his M.S. in Health Services Administration from Regis University and his B.A. in Biology from Boston University, where he pursued a pre-medical course track. He is a certified Medical Assistant with an EMT background, holds a certification in Healthcare Quality and Safety from the Institute for Health Improvement (IHI), and is trained in Lean Six Sigma.
In his current role as the Primary Care & Site Administrator at Atrius Health in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Marcello is instrumental in directing both primary care and site operations. His extensive experience spans multiple healthcare environments, including private practice and community care, and extends into specialties such as urgent care, behavioral health, OBGYN, eye care, laboratory and pharmacy services, and family medicine. This rich background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape, encompassing key areas such as patient care quality and safety, financial management, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, workforce engagement, and business operations.
