Dave Francois has been a writer at Regis University since 2018, contributing to university publications and marketing efforts. He earned his Master of Science in Marketing from Regis in 2021. He is inspired by the way that Regis blends centuries-old wisdom and spiritual discernment practices to address modern concerns such as climate change, global health, artificial intelligence and economic inequality.
Originally from New England, Dave has called Colorado home for more than a decade, embracing the state’s outdoor lifestyle and vibrant culture. Before joining Regis, he built a successful career in marketing and strategic communications within the hospitality industry, honing his skills in brand storytelling. From 2010 to 2012, he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua — an experience that deepened his commitment to service and global engagement. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University, where he graduated in 2009.
In his free time, Dave enjoys traveling, reading, writing fiction, cooking, and experimenting with fermentation. He’s passionate about the outdoors and can often be found camping or climbing Colorado’s 14ers. He lives in Denver with his partner, Kay, and their 17-year-old shih tzu.
