LuAnne Hicks

LuAnne Hicks is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience in the advanced practice role. She believes that passing on knowledge to the next generation of practitioners is one of the most exciting, transformational expressions of service possible. She believes transforming our world by contributing to the education and mentoring of students is an honor. Through positivity, team work, the mutual exchange and sharing of ideas, and culturally and socially sensitive leadership, transformation is possible. She also believes the roles within nursing are as broad, fulfilling, and exciting as each individual wants to make them. The possibilities for creativity in the service of others, and the Jesuit value of Magis, or “the more”, are endless when you reach for the very best you have to give.  LuAnne is a Colorado native, and like many Coloradoans, loves the outdoors. She enjoys sharing cycling, hiking, camping and photography with her husband of 41 years, their children and grandchildren.
