Rachel Carter graduated from Regis University in 2006 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and started her PT career at Craig Rehabilitation Hospital working with people who sustained catastrophic spinal cord injuries. Here she was introduced to Functional Manual Therapy and was intrigued by its concise and effective methodology. She followed this interest and in 2010 achieved certification in FMT.
She has since also become Level Three Trained in Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore (now EIM) and is one of few practitioners nationwide to achieve credentialing in both. She has found the melding of these two treatment strategies in addition to several others to have evolved into a holistic, incredibly effective and integrated physical therapy practice. Throughout her diverse clinical journey, she has been blessed with many incredible teachers and views her role as a faculty member in the Regis University School of Rehabilitative and Health Sciences as a means by which she can continue the thread of education with integrity and help to shape the coming generations of Physical Therapists.
