Sarah Luk is an instructor in the Loretto Heights School of Nursing. She has been a nurse since 2009 primarily working in critical care, emergency room and procedural areas. She is a certified critical care nurse and has experience teaching wilderness life support to healthcare professionals. Sarah has a passion for social justice and racial equity in healthcare and hopes to inspire the next generation of nurses to be academically and socially prepared to care for the whole person. She believes that the Jesuit mission of Regis University in "build(ing) a more just and humane world through transformative education" aligns with her personal goals for the future of nursing. Sarah's desire is to create a classroom experience that is both educational, thoughtful, reflective and allows for personal expression and growth. In her free time, Sarah is usually found in the mountains, running, climbing or biking with her husband and dog.
