Understand Crime to Build a More Just Society

The Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Regis University is more than an investigation into criminal behavior; it is a deep dive into the social structures, legal systems and human stories that shape our world. By bridging the gap between social theory and real-world application, this program empowers you to examine crime and deviance through a lens of equity and restoration. Whether you are analyzing the complexities of the carceral state or exploring forensic psychology, you will develop a nuanced understanding of how to balance public safety with the Jesuit commitment to social justice.

Our curriculum is designed to be both rigorous and remarkably flexible, allowing you to tailor your education to your specific interests. You will study the criminal justice system, crime prevention, law enforcement, courts and corrections while developing the analytical and ethical skills needed for careers in public service and justice-related fields. With unique electives ranging from environmental justice to criminology through film, you won’t just learn about the justice system — you will learn how to lead and innovate within it.
