Where Social Science Meets Solidarity

The Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Justice Studies at Regis University is designed for students who refuse to accept the world as it is. This program provides a powerful framework for understanding how social systems — from health care and sports to immigration and urban environments — impact human lives and dignity. By combining the analytical tools of sociology with the ethical imperative of justice studies, you will learn to understand and navigate the systemic barriers that perpetuate inequality.

Your education in this program is defined by community engagement and critical inquiry. You will analyze the root causes of social systems, apply theory and research to examine the causes of injustice, and develop a marketable set of analytical and communication skills to create a meaningful career. This degree culminates in a professional e-portfolio and internship, ensuring you graduate with a proven track record of advocacy and a clear sense of your professional vocation.
