CSI: Regis

Investigating Samuel Little, America’s Deadliest Serial Killer

Now in its 20th year, the Regis University Crime Scene Investigation Conference is proud to present Lt. Darren Versiga of the Pascagoula, Miss. Police Department. Lt. Versiga will discuss his role as investigator on the Samuel Little case.

60 Confirmed Victims and Counting: About Sam Little

Samuel “Sam” Little confessed to killing 93 people between 1970 and 2005, making him one of the deadliest American serial killers. Little is best known for targeting people, mostly women, who lived at the margins of society — many of his victims’ deaths were originally thought to be overdoses or the consequences of a hard life.

As of Nov. 2021, law enforcement has confirmed the 62 of Little’s 93 confessions.
