Robert “Roby” Blust, Vice President for Enrollment Management

What does Jesuit education mean to you?
Jesuit education challenges students with the question “Why do you think this way?” rather than the statement “Think this way.” That is very powerful. It also gives students the ability and desire to change the world.

What is one lesson you bring from your career to your role at Regis?
In order for us to be successful in our enrollment efforts at Regis, we have to get the entire University thinking about this issue, and participating. I want us to be a campus of enrollment “evangelists” – students, faculty, staff, friends and alumni – who spread the good word about Regis. We have much to be proud of and we need everyone’s help to tell our story.

Besides enrollment management, what are you passionate about?
I am very passionate about my family. My wife Linda is a doctor of internal medicine and has spent her career helping people navigate end-of-life issues. My two daughters, Anne and Abigail, are great people and now both live in Colorado – so we have the band back together again! We are on the lookout for an English bulldog to help round out the crew. I am a lifelong English bulldog owner and a bulldog can always bring a smile to my face.
