Ignatian Village Community
Residents: Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
Named for St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, the Ignatian Village is comprised of two intentional living communities, rooted in the Jesuit value of faith-in-action.
Romero House offers undergraduates in any field of study an opportunity to experience life in an intentional community in service of others. Romero House residents spend a year committed to social justice, exploring faith and spirituality and living out Archbishop Oscar Romero’s call to immerse themselves in the world. Romero House is sponsored by the Center for Service Learning.
Magis House is a faith-based intentional living community rooted in Ignatian Spirituality for undergraduate students “seeking more.” Students living in Magis House grow in community with others who are committed to sharing and exploring their faith. Members engage in spiritual exploration activities such as retreats, spiritual direction, and Ignatian Conversation nights with staff & faculty, while also extending hospitality and fellowship to the broader Regis community. Magis House is sponsored by University Ministry.
The various off-campus houses are located within a few blocks of campus. Houses are co-ed and include shared bathrooms, a full kitchen, and fully furnished living and dining rooms. Bedrooms are furnished with extra-long twin beds, a dresser, bookshelf, desk, and chair. Additionally, each home is equipped with cable, a landline, wireless internet, and a washer and dryer.
