The Center for Service Learning is organizing a vigil at the detention center for detainees and their families. The theme is the Day of the Dead. Organizers would appreciate having other Regis students attend to show support and to remember their loved ones.

Watch Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's TEDx talk and discuss afterward with a panel on gender equality. A copy of Adichie’s book will be handed out to help spread the message.

“Bully”

The film follows the lives of five kids who experience bullying in school. After the movie, students will talk about why bullying is a social justice issue and what Regis can do to reduce bullying.

Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice: Reflection, Action and Healing

Students will speak about their experiences, present methods to affect governmental change and break into restorative justice by writing letters to detained people.
