He’s been called an education entrepreneur, a pioneer and a visionary. Through his innovative ideas to expand and evolve Jesuit education to reach new learners, David M. Clarke, S.J., who recently passed away, leaves an extraordinary legacy. Among many accomplishments, Clarke, who served as the University’s president from 1972-1993, established Regis as a national leader in adult education through the founding of the College for Professional Studies.
