J. Thomas Howe is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Honors Program at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. His research interests currently revolve around issues of aesthetics and philosophy of religion. He is the author of Faithful to the Earth:  Nietzsche and Whitehead on God and the Meaning of Human Life (Rowman and Littlefield, 2003) and several essays on process thought, religion and literature, aesthetics, and atheism. He studied at Lake Forest College, Yale Divinity School, and Claremont Graduate University.
