Fawzia Ahmad

Fawzia Ahmad was born in Lahore, Pakistan and came to the United States to pursue her graduate studies. She received her doctorate in French language and literatures from Boston University. Currently, she is teaching for Regis University and for Pikes Peak Community College. She is also coordinating a Summer French Immersion Program in Nice, France. Fawzia has published on her interests in female Muslim identities and in French literatures and pedagogy. She has lived in Colorado for the last twenty plus years and has raised her children here. Her son is a captain in the US Air Force and her daughter is studying in law school.
