Linda Osterlund

Dr. Linda Osterlund is currently the Academic Dean for the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP) at Regis University and was previously Vice Provost in the Office of Provost and Professor in RHCHP's Division of Counseling and Family Therapy. She served as Associate Dean of the Division of Counseling and Family Therapy, and as Chair/Coordinator of the Regis University Graduate Counseling program in Colorado Springs. She has taught at Regis since 2005, as affiliate faculty, advancing to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.

Dr. Osterlund holds a B.S. in Psychobiology from the UCLA; a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California; and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Osterlund is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing for over 25 years. She has experience providing services in in-patient, residential, and community mental health settings. She is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor, and CACREP accreditation peer reviewer.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Tepeyac Community Health Center, a vibrant culturally competent healthcare provider for the medically underserved. She also serves on the Foundation Board for St. Joseph Hospital and on the Board of Trustees for HCA/HealthONE. Dr. Osterlund is passionate about providing excellence in health care education, and leading RHCHP in training principled health care providers who will address health disparities and transform the future of health care in our local and global communities.
