Focuses on evidence-based management and updates in genomics and genetics, pain management, the stress response, immune disorders, mental disorders, rehabilitative and end-of-life care.
Focuses on health promotion and disease prevention in nursing practice within the context of the U.S. health care system, global health perspectives and policy.
An overview on population-based nursing, exploring principles including public health, epidemiology, and environmental health as well as the impact of health care policies on social justice and health care disparities.
The total degree requires 120 credit hours, which includes all core studies requirements, 33 credit hours awarded in accordance with the provisions of the Colorado Articulation Model and RN licensure and 30 credit hours of upper-division nursing course work completed during the program at Regis University.
The RN-BSN completion program is designed to be completed in as few as 10 months, when two classes are completed per 8-week term, or up to 20 months if you complete one class every 8 weeks. You decide. Students can also choose to take the program 100% online, or as part of a web-based classroom in a synchronous format.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science degree in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs at Regis University’s Loretto Heights School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The Loretto Heights School of Nursing has a credit transfer policy aimed to ensure RNs with an associate’s degree are given the maximum amount of credit possible. Here’s how it works: If you graduated from a regionally accredited institution, completed an ADN program requiring a minimum of 66 semester hours and have a current license, you’re eligible for a lump sum transfer of at least 66 semester hours.
