2020 graduate Zastrocky earns National Science Foundation fellowship

The Durango Herald highlights standout Ranger's achievements at Regis and upcoming graduate program

 

Graduate Theodora Zastrocky, RC '20, was accepted this spring as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.

The prestigious honor, which recognizes outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported fields, will fund a significant portion of Zastrocky’s upcoming doctorate program in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Wyoming.

At Regis, Zastrocky was a Board of Trustees scholarship recipient who double majored in English and physics with a minor in mathematics. She was also a member of the Honors Program and Regis’ NCAA Division II cross country team.
