Summer movie series coming to Regis University

Regis University will welcome the campus community and neighborhood to Boettcher Commons this summer for RegiRama, a free outdoor movie series.

The movies and dates are listed below:

June 11 – Raya and the Last Dragon, PG

July 9 – The Greatest Showman, PG

Aug. 6 – Hidden Figures, PG

Participants may join the events starting at 6:30 p.m. at the University’s Northwest Denver Campus. Movies will begin at dusk.

“We are excited to bring Regis University’s neighbors and North Denver families together on campus for these movies.  We’ve all spent more than a year keeping to small circles of friends. Offering a space for our entire community to gather safely again is the perfect antidote to our isolation,” said Jenna Farley, the University’s director of community relations.

Named for the University’s mascot, Regi, the series is a family-friendly event suitable for all ages. The event will feature food trucks, and participants are welcome to bring picnics. Regis encourages guests to bring their own blankets and chairs. Alcohol is not allowed, and dogs must be leashed.

“Regis is thrilled to partner with our local neighborhood organizations including Regis Berkeley United Neighbors and Chaffee Park RNO to get the word out.  We look forward to seeing all our friends and neighbors on campus this summer,” Farley said.
