For those interested in joining the Catholic Church or completing the rites of initiation (in either the Roman Rite or the Russian Greek Catholic Rite), RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is offered at Regis. If you are interested, please contact either University Ministry or Fr. Chrysostom Frank at 303.625.1321.
Curas are small student-led, belief-based groups whose members meet weekly (or every other week) to share, reflect, challenge and grow their beliefs together. Meetings may involve activities, reflection, contemplative practices or conversation.
Peer Ministers (PMs) are students who are hired to live in the residence halls to provide a pastoral presence to the residents who live there. They help build up the residence hall communities through spiritual programming, facilitating many different kinds of prayer, working collaboratively with the Resident Assistants, and simply being available to talk to residents about everything from breakups to spiritual questions to homesickness.
Each first year hall has two PMs, and each upper class hall has one. If you are interested in learning more about the PM program, who your PM is in your residence hall, or in becoming a PM, please contact Sharon Bramante at 303.964.3670 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
