Regis University's 165th commencement ceremonies to be held April 30 and May 1
April 28, 2016
DENVER – Regis University’s 165th commencement ceremonies will take place April 30 and May 1, rain or shine, on the Northwest Denver Campus' Boettcher Commons (the Quad). Ceremonies for graduate and doctoral students will be held Saturday, April 30, at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. The undergraduate ceremony will be held Sunday, May 1, at 10 a.m.
Participants and guests are encouraged to come prepared for the weather. Forecasts are calling for unseasonably wintry weather bringing a lot of moisture, possibly in the form of snow. Unfortunately, the University doesn’t have any alternative indoor options because its conference facilities have limited capacity and notably, the Field House is under construction.
An estimated 1,250 out of the approximately 1,475 Regis graduates are expected to walk in the ceremonies. Live streaming will be available at regis.edu/commencement. The webpage also has all other details pertaining to the weekend’s events. Please continue to check this page or follow Regis on Facebook or Twitter for any updates.
The Loretto Heights School of Nursing Pinning and Recognition Ceremony, originally set for Friday, April 29, at 1 p.m. and outside, has been divided into two ceremonies that day that will be held in the St. John Francis Regis Chapel.
The Family Nurse Practitioner, Leadership and RN-BSN students will have their ceremony at 10 a.m. Students are to check-in by 9:30 a.m. on the west end of the first floor of Main Hall. The Traditional, Accelerated and CHOICE students will have their ceremony at 1 p.m. Students are to check-in by 12:30 p.m., also on the first floor of Main Hall.
Free parking and a shuttle service will be available on campus for all commencement events.
