Mentor Statement
As a mentor, Christine is a close, encouraging reader and depending on a student's preference, approaches work packets on both a micro and macro level--from line edits to questions related to characterization, plot, point of view, and overall novel or story structure. She also enjoys the collaborative process of mentoring and works carefully with each student to tailor reading lists to their goals and interests.
