Explore a framework for the systematic collection of a comprehensive database that includes pertinent history and physical assessments of the pregnant woman, neonate and healthy child through age two.

NR 654: Advanced Practice Procedures for the High-Risk Neonate

Develop skills and applications addressing the assessment and management of advanced neonatal procedures commonly encountered in the neonatal population.

Understand how to develop a plan of care based on patient presentation, best available research evidence, pathophysiology, and pharmacologic principles for the neonate.

How to Apply

To apply to the Neonatal Physician Assistant Post-Graduate Certificate program, you will need:

  • Completed online application
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Official transcript from PA program
  • Current resume
  • Experience or job offer in a neonatal ICU with ability to complete clinical hours there
  • Three professional recommendations, including one from current employer or supervisor
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or Neonatal Advance Life Support (NALS)

Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year: $1,055 per credit hour
Total program credits: 14

Admissions Timeline

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. It is recommended you apply to this program at least 4 weeks prior to your desired start date.
