NR 654: Advanced Practice Procedures for the High-Risk Neonate
Develop skills and applications addressing the assessment and management of advanced neonatal procedures commonly encountered in the neonatal population.
NR 656: Management of the High-Risk Neonate
Understand how to develop a plan of care based on patient presentation, best available research evidence, pathophysiology, and pharmacologic principles for the neonate.
How to Apply
To apply to the Neonatal Physician Assistant Post-Graduate Certificate program, you will need:
- Completed online application
- Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Official transcript from PA program
- Current resume
- Experience or job offer in a neonatal ICU with ability to complete clinical hours there
- Three professional recommendations, including one from current employer or supervisor
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or Neonatal Advance Life Support (NALS)
